Introduction to Unmanned Aerial Systems, their applications, and the rules and regulations for UAS operations.

Topic 2: Structure from Motion

Photogrammetry and Structure from Motion concepts, and processing UAS imagery into orthophotos and surface models.

Topic 3: UAS Flight Planning

Planning and executing UAS data collection: mission parameters, terrain analysis, and ground control.

Topic 4: GIS Analytics

GIS-based analysis of UAS processing outputs: DSM and orthophoto comparison, volumes, and point cloud analysis.

Topic 5: Advanced Analytics

Comparing and fusing UAS and lidar data, and analyzing multitemporal UAS data for monitoring applications.

Topic 6: Machine Learning & AI

Image classification and change detection with multitemporal UAS data using machine learning methods.

Topic 7: OpenDroneMap

Processing UAS imagery with open source tools: OpenDroneMap and WebODM.
